Copake, NY - Copake Fire Company #1 completed pump operator training on their new Rescue Pumper 1442, with multiple chauffeurs and firefighters successfully passing final evaluations.

Over several weeks, members trained in driving and advanced pump operations, including foam application, operating multiple handlines and deluge systems, and transitioning between onboard water, drafting, and external water supplies.

The training highlighted the critical role of apparatus operators in maintaining consistent water flow and supporting fireground operations, ensuring crews operate safely and effectively during emergencies.
