DEER PARK, NY — April 10th — The leadership team for the following year was chosen at the Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department's annual department elections.
Vincent Jackson was appointed first assistant chief, Dominic Albanese was appointed second assistant chief, and Kevin Heissenbuttel was appointed third assistant chief. Robert Macaluso was chosen chief of the department.
The newly elected chiefs will oversee operations and continue to assist members in providing fire and emergency services to the community, according to department officials.
