"Marine 26" was put back into duty by the Center Moriches Fire Department for the 2026 boating season. The department's 25-foot Parker boat has both marine firefighting and search and rescue capabilities. Members of the Marine Unit and Water Rescue Team underwent equipment checks and pre-season inspections to guarantee preparedness before going back into service.
