BAYPORT, NY — April 12th — A training exercise on school bus extrication techniques was carried out by Bayport Fire Department personnel.
Firefighters reviewed the particular difficulties these vehicles bring during crises while practicing accessing and removing patients from a school bus. To guarantee safe and effective operations, crews worked on stabilization, tool placement, and coordinated patient removal.
