Cedar Grove Juniors Train on PPE Fundamentals

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — March 25th — Cedar Grove Fire Department persisted with training for its Junior Firefighter Program, conducted twice monthly to offer regular educational opportunities for its younger participants.


In the most recent session, junior firefighters emphasized personal protective equipment (PPE), understanding its purpose, how it has changed, and the significance of wearing it correctly. Members also rehearsed putting on and taking off their gear to cultivate safe and effective habits from the outset of their training. Upcoming sessions will feature more subjects, hands-on activities, and guest speakers to enhance understanding and promote ongoing growth within the program
