In order to retain vital life-saving skills, Bainbridge Fire/EMS personnel completed a CPR/AED and First Aid refresher. Patient assessment, burn and wound care, and the use of bandages and tourniquets were all addressed in the training. The appropriate use of automated external defibrillators in cardiac emergencies was also covered by the members. Josh VanSteenburg, the instructor, walked the group through revised procedures and practical exercises.
