In Franklin Township (Somerset County), District 1’s Engine 8, a 2023 Spartan ER pumper (red), is next to its predecessor, a 1998 Seagrave pumper. The Seagrave has an aluminum body, the second to be delivered in the state at the time. It is only the body because Seagrave would not build aluminum cabs.
