Woonsocket, RI - Members of the Woonsocket Fire Department, alongside Cumberland Fire Department and additional Northern Rhode Island technical rescue teams, participated in a joint training focused on heavy vehicle lifting and complex extrication scenarios.

Crews operated with specialized equipment to simulate real-world incidents involving large vehicles, emphasizing coordinated operations, patient access, and safe removal techniques under challenging conditions.

The training provided an opportunity to strengthen interagency communication and refine skills critical to technical rescue responses.
