CROYDON, NH — April 12th — Under chilly and windy weather, the Croydon Fire Department, NH RT-10, took part in a multi-agency training exercise organized by a mutual assistance partner. Crews finished practical exercises centered on operating safety, communication, and cooperation on the fireground. Members were able to assess equipment performance and emphasize crew accountability in situations akin to actual incidents through training in inclement weather.

Maintaining mutual aid readiness in the area continues to depend heavily on joint training with nearby departments. During multi-company replies, these exercises reinforce command functions, promote consistent operations, and enhance interoperability. In order to be ready for structural fires, outdoor fires, and other situations needing coordinated action, departments in the region periodically train together. The department expressed gratitude to the host organization for setting up the training.
