Hands-On Evolutions Continue for Bristol Fire Recruits

BRISTOL, RI — April 13th — According to the Rhode Island Fire Academy, the Bristol Fire Department's current recruit training class is still going through practical evolutions.


Hands-on training on fundamental fireground abilities, such as hose handling, search methods, and fundamental suppression operations, is being completed by recruits. Under controlled circumstances, these evolutions are intended to strengthen safety and teamwork while increasing proficiency in critical activities.
