Berkley, MA - Berkley Fire/Rescue conducted hands-on vehicle extrication training this evening, made possible by a generous donation of vehicles from Bob’s Auto. The department adjusted its training schedule to fully capitalize on this valuable opportunity.

Fire department personnel participated in scenario-based exercises, using manikins placed in each vehicle to simulate realistic accident conditions. Trainings of this nature are essential in ensuring crews remain well-prepared to respond swiftly and effectively when every second counts.

The department extends its sincere appreciation to Bob’s Auto for hosting the training at their yard, supplying the vehicles, and assisting with staging. Additional thanks go to the Berkley CERT Team for their support in providing scene lighting and assisting throughout the exercise.
