This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On March 16, River Vale Fire Department personnel practiced hose orientation, forcible entrance, and the use of a crosslay hose prop. The Hillsdale and Westwood Fire Departments participated in the exercise, which was conducted as a box alarm drill that allowed firefighters to practice together under simulated reaction situations. Firefighters practiced acting under coordinated multi-department operations, getting access to structures, and installing hose lines.
