The Bloomfield Fire Department's four shifts recently finished collaboration and communication-focused training.

In order to support safe and successful operations during emergency occurrences, the seminar focused on firefighters communicating clearly and effectively both on and off the fireground. Strong communication is essential for coordination, decision-making, and overall crew safety, according to officials.

Dr. Donnette Green, the training's instructor, used the SEI MORE framework to help participants develop their situational awareness and interpersonal communication skills.
