BAY HEAD, NJ — March 16th — Forcible entry and confined area search operations were the main topics of a structured training session led by members of Bay Head Fire Company No. 1. In order to practice door-forcing procedures frequently utilized during emergency responses, firefighters and fire police undertook several repetitions of forced entrance. The exercises focused on quickness, coordination, and safe access in practical settings.

After that, crews relocated to the Brick Township Fire Department Training Center, where they had to navigate a maze with limited space. Members of the evolution had to control oxygen supply and uphold search discipline while navigating confined spaces in poor vision.
