COLONIA, N.J. — April 5th — In order to greet locals and celebrate Easter, members of the Colonia Volunteer Fire Department led the Easter Bunny through the neighborhood on Saturday morning.
Families and kids came out to wave and participate in the seasonal ritual as the Easter Bunny was transported through different neighborhoods by fire engines. This kind of activity, according to department officials, strengthens the bond between firefighters and the community they serve.
