COLONIA, N.J. — April 1st — The Colonia Volunteer Fire Department expressed gratitude to the CHS PTO and Ciro's Pizza for supplying lunch to firefighters who responded to the Colonia Middle School fire on March 25.
According to department officials, the donation helped crews that responded to the incident and demonstrated significant community support for local firefighters. Incidents such as school building fires frequently necessitate lengthy operations, with firefighters working for extended periods of time to contain the fire, check for extension, and assure the building's safety. The crew thanked both CHS PTO and Ciro's Pizza for their generosity and ongoing support of the Colonia Fire crew.
