COLONIA, N.J. — March 9th — On International Women's Day, the Colonia Volunteer Fire Department honored Firefighter Kayla Rajcevic for her community involvement and early career in fire and EMS.
Rajcevic graduated from the RWJ EMT program and works as an EMT with the Cranford Fire Department. When not on duty, she answers to calls for the Colonia Volunteer Fire Department.
She recently finished the Middlesex County Fire Academy's Firefighter 1 program, marking another milestone in her public safety training.
According to department officials, Rajcevic's commitment underscores the worth of members who work in both emergency medical services and fire departments.
