Two single engine air tankers ( SEATS ) arrived at the Hazleton Regional Airport to be on standby for the 2024 wildfire season in Pennsylvania. A 3rd single engine air tanker is in place in State College to cover the midstate and a helicopter with a bambi bucket is also on standby in case of any large fires happening or hard to reach fires to help extinguish the fire until ground units can reach the fire location.
