Ferrisburg, VT - Ferrisburgh Fire’s Firefighter 1 class focused on forcible entry techniques during recent training session. This essential skill enables firefighters to quickly and safely access buildings during emergencies—whether to reach a fire, assist a patient, or search for occupants when every second counts.

Training was enhanced thanks to a donated door prop from Saint Michael’s Fire and Rescue, giving recruits hands-on experience that goes far beyond classroom instruction. This practical tool allowed firefighters to practice real-world techniques in a controlled and effective environment.
