Brigantine Fire and EMS Adds LUCAS CPR Device

 Brigantine, NJ — March 20th — Brigantine Fire and EMS Department has announced the addition of a new LUCAS gadget to their emergency medical equipment.


Captain Laielli, Firefighter Brown, and Battalion Chief Daley recently unveiled the equipment, which automates chest compressions during cardiac arrest incidents. The technology enables responders to provide consistent, high-quality CPR while freeing people to focus on other vital duties during patient care.


According to department officials, the LUCAS device is intended to help improved life-saving measures while also improving efficiency during medical emergencies.
