FARMINGTON, NH — March 28th — Senior Firefighter Doug Houston and Firefighter/EMT Chris Rouleau were acknowledged by members of the Farmington NH Fire Department, located at 160 Main Street, Farmington, NH, United States, 03835, following their completion of the First Boston Air Climb at One Boston Place in Boston. Firefighters must ascend 42 stories while donning self-contained breathing apparatus and complete turnout gear. Every year, firefighters from all departments in the area participate in the climb, which encourages collaboration, exercise, and firefighter health.

Along with other firefighters who finished the climb under the same conditions utilized in fireground operations, Houston and Rouleau represented the Farmington Fire Department during the event. In order to promote physical preparedness for emergency response, the fire department generally supports stair climb events like this one.
