March 26, 2026 — Members of Wilkins Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 3 conducted a comprehensive training drill alongside Pitcairn Hose Company No. 1, focusing on water flow, hose deployment, and pump operations. During the two-hour session, crews deployed a total of six handlines from three apparatus while also operating master streams from Tower 303.
Firefighters practiced coordinated suppression techniques, apparatus positioning, and efficient water management in a controlled environment designed to simulate real-world fireground conditions. Following the hands-on portion of the drill, participants engaged in a roundtable discussion to review tactics, evaluate performance, and share lessons learned.
The training highlighted the importance of inter-company cooperation and continuous skill development to ensure effective emergency response.
