Interdepartmental Firefighters Complete Specialized Aerial Ladder Rescue Training

Demarest, NJ - Firefighters from Closter, Demarest, and Harrington Park recently participated in a hands-on training session conducted by All Hands Fire, focusing on advanced techniques for victim removal using aerial ladders. The program explored multiple rescue approaches, including operations involving both rear-mount ladder trucks and mid-mount tower apparatus, utilizing the equipment currently in service. The training aimed to enhance operational efficiency and safety during high-angle rescues. The Harrington Park Volunteer Fire Department organized the session, and participating members expressed appreciation for the instructors, who delivered a comprehensive and engaging course.
