Clayton Air Boat Assists in Possible Ice Rescue Search

On March 1st, the Brier Hill Fire Department in St. Lawrence County requested mutual aid from the Town of Clayton Fire Department for an ice rescue. The department's airboat responded to help with the search. After speaking with the caller in Canada and determining a potential location, workers began a grid search of the region. Following the search, firemen found no signs of anyone in trouble, and the operation was deemed unsuccessful.
