Waterville, ME - During Colby Emergency Response’s annual conference in the first week of March, the department conducted a comprehensive vehicle extrication demonstration. Organized by FF/AEMT Kristi Poland, she, along with C-shift members, delivered an in-depth overview of extrication techniques, followed by a live demonstration and patient trauma assessment.

The department takes great pride in the “all hazards” skills and capabilities of its staff. From technical rescue operations to the continued delivery of patient care inside ambulances, members consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism and readiness.

The team also recognizes and values the strong partnerships built within the community, including ongoing collaboration with Colby College’s Emergency Response team.
