Clinton, ME - Members dedicated time from their busy schedules to participate in a comprehensive training session focused on cold weather emergencies. The exercise included hands-on practice using Unit 8 and a rescue toboggan to safely transport a patient to a waiting ambulance.

The training brought together personnel from the Burnham Fire Department, along with a junior firefighter from Fairfield Benton Emergency Services. The session emphasized the importance of maintaining proficiency in skills that are not frequently used but are critical in both environmental medical responses and trauma situations.

Such training ensures that responders remain prepared to effectively handle emergencies in challenging conditions.
