Canton Firefighters Quickly Contain Attic Fire on Christmas Tree Hill Road

March 26, 2026 — The Canton Fire & EMS Department responded to a reported structure fire on Christmas Tree Hill Road, where arriving crews confirmed a working attic fire. Firefighters acted swiftly to bring the blaze under control, preventing further extension within the home. Multiple Canton units, including Ladder 2, Engines 3 and 4, Tanker 7, and additional command and support units, operated at the scene alongside the Fire Marshal’s Office. Mutual aid partners also assisted and provided station coverage during the incident. Officials reported that the fire was quickly contained due to the coordinated efforts of responding crews, and the cause remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
