March 10, 2026 — The Burrell Township Volunteer Fire Department is inviting the community to stop by for its upcoming “Fisherman’s Lunch” fundraiser, scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2026, coinciding with the first day of trout season. The event will take place at the fire station on Cochran’s Mill Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering a variety of food options including 12-inch Italian hoagies, ham BBQ sandwiches, soups, desserts, and more. In addition to the lunch event, the department is also conducting a hoagie sale, with preorders encouraged to support fundraising efforts. Proceeds from the event will benefit the volunteer fire department’s ongoing operations and community services.
