Hartland Volunteer Fire Company Mourns Firefighter Paul “Ham” Hamilton

GASPORT, NY — March 13th — Firefighter Paul "Ham" Hamilton passed away quietly in the company of his loved ones, according to the Hartland Volunteer Fire Company. Hamilton has been with the department for a long time and was well-known in the local fire service community for his dependability and willingness to assist others. While continuing to assist seasoned firefighters with operations and training, he frequently imparted practical fire service knowledge to younger members, according to other firefighters.


In order to train new firefighters and impart operational skills and safety procedures, volunteer units around New York rely on seasoned personnel. Hamilton continued to participate in departmental and neighborhood events. Members stated that firemen and residents of Niagara County will always remember his service, guidance, and friendships formed over the years.
