March 18, 2026 — Dawson County Fire and Emergency Services is encouraging residents to register for an upcoming CPR training class scheduled for April 14, aimed at equipping community members with critical lifesaving skills. The class will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Station 2, located at 145 Liberty Drive in Dawsonville. Officials noted that reservations are required, with a cost of $25 for Dawson County residents and $50 for non-residents. The training will provide participants with hands-on instruction from experienced emergency personnel, covering essential techniques that can make a life-saving difference during cardiac emergencies. Community members are urged to take advantage of the opportunity to learn CPR and enhance preparedness in emergency situations.
