March 24, 2026 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue responded to a reported fire at a local body shop, dispatching Engine 17, Engine 4, Squad 17, multiple Atrium EMS units, and command staff including Chief 1, Chief 2, and Chief 3. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a large fire involving multiple vehicles and equipment, including five trucks, a four-wheeler, a lawn mower, and two truck beds, along with surrounding grass that had ignited. Crews acted quickly to bring the fire under control, preventing extension to nearby structures and limiting further property damage. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Baldwin County Fire Investigators. Officials credited the coordinated response and teamwork of all units for successfully containing the incident.
