Pen Hills, PA - 227EN conducted a fire prevention detail at First Care Daycare, where crew members engaged with approximately a dozen children on various aspects of fire safety and prevention. The team provided basic education on fire awareness in an interactive and informative setting.

The detail was later shortened when 227EN was requested to relocate to Station 195 to stand by while crews responded to a mutual aid call assisting Plum Borough. Personnel remained on standby in Monroeville for approximately four hours before returning to normal operations.
