Bushnell’s Basin and Fairport Train on Vehicle Extrication

On March 20th, Bushnell's Basin Fire Department members took part in a vehicle extrication training simulation with the Fairport Fire Department.
Firefighters worked together to practice technical extrication techniques, which are required to safely remove individuals from vehicles after major wrecks. The hands-on training enabled staff from both agencies to evaluate equipment operations and improve collaboration during rescue scenarios. Members complimented Fairport Fire Department for hosting the training and allowing for joint instruction.
