Brighton Fire District Receives $20,514 Safety Grant

On March 26th, the Brighton Fire Department announced that it had won a $20,514 grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.


The funds were utilized to acquire new thermal imaging cameras, which will improve the Brighton community's emergency response capabilities. Thermal imaging cameras are used by firefighters in a variety of situations, including searching for victims in smoke-filled areas and detecting concealed fires during structural fires.
