Wellsville, NY - On March 16, 2026, Past Chief Rodney Winans was recognized at tonight’s Department Fire Board Meeting, where he was presented with an outgoing chief’s gift in appreciation of his years of leadership and service to the department. Chief Winans served as the head of the department from 2023 to 2025. The department expressed its gratitude for his dedication and commitment to both the organization and the community. The award was presented by 1st Assistant Chief Andrew Havens and 2nd Assistant Chief Kevin Fleischman during the meeting.
