February 26, 2026 — Firefighters from Lewiston Fire Department responded to an unusual call for service, assisting a stranded cat safely down from a rooftop. Lt. Gayton and Pvt. Eveson from Engine 3 worked alongside local animal control to reach the tuxedo cat, ensuring a safe and successful rescue.
