Garden City, GA - A-Shift personnel have been actively strengthening their operational capabilities following the recent implementation of auto-aid agreements. Crews participated in focused training centered on efficient tender operations, utilizing the department’s 3,000-gallon water tender to practice water shuttle techniques and reinforce a coordinated approach when additional water supply is required on scene.


Reliable water supply operations remain essential, particularly in areas without hydrant access. Through dedicated training in shuttle operations, members are improving efficiency, minimizing turnaround times, and enhancing interoperability with neighboring departments under the new agreements.


Ongoing training efforts ensure the department remains prepared to provide dependable fire protection services to the community.
