Bridgeport, CT - Ladder 6 responded to a reported medical emergency involving a childbirth in progress at 140 Clifford Street. The responding crew included Lieutenant Sean Canfield, Acting Driver Angel Cintron, Firefighter Joey Nguyen, and Firefighter Jeremiah Lopez.
Upon arrival, the team encountered a 31-year-old woman leaning over her bed, reporting that her water had broken and delivery was imminent. Recognizing the urgency, the crew quickly transitioned from response to direct medical assistance.
Demonstrating calm professionalism and effective teamwork, Firefighter Joey Nguyen successfully delivered a healthy baby, with support from AMR EMT Canty and Firefighter Jeremiah Lopez.
