Bellingham, MA - A team of 20 firefighters from Bellingham participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle, earning an impressive 8th place overall out of 191 teams. The challenge involved climbing 69 flights of stairs in full gear—an extraordinary physical feat.

Despite the demanding nature of the climb, the team emphasized that their effort is small compared to the daily struggles faced by cancer patients and survivors. Demonstrating both strength and compassion, the group has raised $13,863 so far in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Their achievement highlights not only athletic endurance but also a strong commitment to making a difference. Way to go, team!
