FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY — March 7th — On March 7, the 102nd annual Installation Dinner was held at the Sand Castle by Franklin Square Munson Fd, 841 Liberty Pl, Franklin Square, NY. The occasion honored the department's members' service and leadership. The evening program's Master of Ceremonies was former Captain John Novello. The 70th Chief of the Franklin Square and Munson Fire Department, Justin Pons, was sworn in.

First Assistant Chief Joseph Gerrato and Second Assistant Chief Chris Lavin were appointed. Additionally, a number of members received recognition for their services to the department throughout the previous year and for reaching milestone years of service. Ex-Chief Michael Multari gave closing remarks and was given plaques from the department and district honoring his leadership and service in the Chief's Office.
