Awards Presented at Moravia Fire’s Olympics-Themed Celebration

On March 15, Moravia Fire Department members gathered at the Springside Inn for their annual banquet, which celebrated the department's 2025 accomplishments.


Several department members were honored for their service and efforts during the Olympics-themed event. Jake Langtry was selected Firefighter of the Year, and Jim Crowley got Rookie of the Year. Deputy Chief Mike Copley was recognized with the Chief's Award, while Thomas "TJ" Johnson got the President's Award.


Bill Lloyd was honored for 50 years of service, while John Zepko was acknowledged for five years of service. Attendance prizes were also handed, with Johnson taking first place.


Department officials congratulated all volunteers and their families for their commitment to the Moravia Fire Department's mission.
