Denny Erdmann was recognized in the Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department's member highlight series.

Erdmann works as a truck driver and firefighter, frequently overseeing water delivery operations during disasters. He has been a member of the department for 38 years, dedicating his entire fire service career to WVFD.

Erdmann stated that he joined the fire service to serve his community and assist others when they needed it the most. He mentioned that one of his favorite aspects of the department is operating the equipment and working with other members.

Erdmann is a grounds supervisor at Houghton University who enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
