ALBANY, NY — March 15th — Members of the Guilderland Fire Department participated in the City of Albany's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, alongside firefighters, first responders, bands, and community groups from across the Capital Region.
Firefighters marched through downtown Albany with thousands of people honoring Irish ancestry and community traditions.
According to department officials, events such as the march help to develop connections between emergency services and the communities they serve. Members stated that they were proud to represent the department and participate in the annual event.
