Department Ceremony Marks Promotions and Service Milestones

BELLMORE, NY — March 4th — During a recent event to commemorate service milestones and leadership changes, the Bellmore Fire Department honored a number of its members. Daniel Donovan, the first assistant chief, and James Constantin, the second assistant chief, were congratulated on Eric Ozechowski's appointment as the department's new chief. The department also acknowledged the service of departing captains Corey Mumolo, James Constantin, and Stephen Marsar and complimented departing chief of department Brandon Conway for his leadership.


In appreciation of her decades of dedication to the Bellmore community, Joanne Miller was given special recognition for attaining 50 years of service with the department. Additionally, officials expressed gratitude to the Board of Commissioners for their ongoing support of the volunteer fire service and the people who commit their time to defending the community.
