BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY — March 16th —Members of the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department finished second in the Mohawk Mountain Firefighter Ski Races.
The BMFD Ski Team competed with six members, racing two heats on a slalom course using a 1¾-inch hose. Five firefighters competed at the same time, finishing the course in 39 seconds.
Rob Lehning led the team, which comprised Ted Dengler XI, Mason Kleiner, Lt. Tom Gustin, Bill Welsh, and 2nd Assistant Chief Michael Molinelli.
