March 13, 2026 — Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Company issued a community alert advising residents of multiple power outages affecting the Bethel Park area, with emergency crews on standby to respond as needed. Officials reported numerous downed wires across several locations and urged the public to treat all wires as live and dangerous, emphasizing the importance of staying clear of barricaded areas. In addition, traffic signals at multiple intersections were reported out, prompting reminders for motorists to treat dark signals as four-way stops and proceed with caution. With no estimated time for power restoration currently available, residents are encouraged to remain patient, check on neighbors who may need assistance, and exercise heightened awareness while traveling. Emergency responders continue to monitor conditions and will provide updates as new information becomes available.
