BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — March 11th — Members of the Bridgehampton Fire Department rescue team recently tested new hydraulic rescue equipment that will be used on the department's rescue vehicle, which is presently under development.

The department put its new Holmatro electric rescue tools into duty for training, allowing firefighters to practice extrication tactics before they are permanently installed on the apparatus. Captain Brian Murphy and the rescue truck build committee collaborated to secure the new tools as part of the project.
