Members of the Clifton Park Volunteer Fire Department attended the Town of Halfmoon Board Meeting on March 19th, where officials honored West Crescent Fire District W.K. Mansfield Hose Company Past Chief and Past Fire Coordinator Ed Tremblay as a "Halfmoon Hero."
Tremblay was recognized for more than 50 years of volunteer service in the community, including fire and EMS. Throughout his tenure, he held several leadership positions and aided regional emergency response activities in southern Saratoga County.
Tremblay's decades of dedication, according to town officials, exemplify the local community's passion and legacy of volunteer emergency services. Clifton Park firefighters were present to support the ceremony and congratulate Tremblay on reaching the milestone.
