Hilton Firefighters Respond to 50 Calls in February

The Hilton Fire Department responded to 50 calls in February, including five fires, seven hazardous condition calls, five vehicle collisions, and 13 EMS events. Crews also handled five public service calls and 15 canceled or non-emergency responses.


There were 18 events requiring mutual help reactions. Notable calls this month included working structure fires in Brockport and on Hamlin Parma Town Line Road, as well as two snowmobile fires and a chimney fire in Hamlin. Members also completed 253 training hours, including a joint ice rescue drill with Lakeshore Fire Department. Community service activities included events with Hilton Varsity Cheer and Scout Troop 330.
