Binghamton, NY — March 14th — Members of the Binghamton Fire Department took part in the 24th Annual St. Patrick's Day 4 Miler, which brought together runners from all across the city.

Firefighters also competed in the friendly Fire vs. Police Department Challenge, with the fire department once again defeating the Binghamton Police Department.

Aside from the sport, the event benefits community outreach programs through St. Patrick's Church. Over the last decade, the event has raised approximately $40,000 to provide food, clothing, and showers to people in need in the Binghamton region.
